Getting back into the flow of things (musically) might be one of the best things that ever happened to me. 2026's already been a massive blessing to me, I managed to get all of my goals for the first 6 complete. God has been favoring me a lot, and no word of a lie, it's almost terrifying how much support I've been receiving from friends (and Chuk ESPECIALLY, we recently discussed the anxiety that being perceived causes me).

I'm so excited for what's to come in the next few weeks with us. Chukwudum JUST got done with his cameo @ Acid Jazz. I'm so proud of him (WE proud of him, he an all-star), it's super inspiring to see him pursue success at the level he is, makes me want to output and create more!

BTB: Ralph Lauren Ties

A few months back, Chukwudum and I were discussing ideas for the album. And he came up with a cool idea: Naming each song after the imaginary things we wanted as kids. He came up with A LOT of things, and I really couldn't come up with anything from my childhood that I wanted. I thought about it for a few days, and I wondered why I couldn't come up with anything. It wasn't until later I realized it's because I hated watching most  of the cartoons that had imaginary things, PLUS most of the stuff I wanted as a kid I ended up getting. The one thing I REALLY loved as kid though was ties . My Mom always told me stories about how I'd run to the ties/suit section at most stores. Fun-fact about me: Most of my childhood pictures I'm usually wearing a suit and tie. I think the one thing I wanted as a kid was more ties, so I decided to put " Ralph Lauren Tie " on the list. Care 4 Urself.

-Chukwudum. I have very little self belief in myself. Which often comes as a fundamental contradiction to most people that have met me. So what does this mean for someone who's enthralled with art? It means that I, in turn, refuse to believe in what I create. Art is a reflection of what we think about our own perception of everything. So in making music, something so deeply personal, I find myself constantly second guessing. Now, if one found themselves working with one of the best young producers in the world and also being completely new at making music, the bridge between being 'okay' and being absolutely terrible feels insurmountable. I was on the phone with TOBi, a Canadian artist from Brampton who's helped me a lot in terms of laying the basis for my musical journey. I asked him what it was like, selling his own mixtapes out the back of his car. Now he got a couple albums and awards. So why not ask an extremely emotionally intelligent winner how to get my own feet...
