by Oghenerhoro Williams Getting back into the flow of things (musically) might be one of the best things that ever happened to me. 2026's already been a massive blessing to me, I managed to get all of my goals for the first 6 complete. God has been favoring me a lot, and no word of a lie, it's almost terrifying how much support I've been receiving from friends (and Chuk ESPECIALLY, we recently discussed the anxiety that being perceived causes me). I'm so excited for what's to come in the next few weeks with us. Chukwudum JUST got done with his cameo @ Acid Jazz. I'm so proud of him (WE proud of him, he an all-star), it's super inspiring to see him pursue success at the level he is, makes me want to output and create more!

Some of you I've told this story to, others I haven't, but I thought here is the best place for me to share the story. For those that know me, you know that I'm unfortunately unafraid of shame or embarrassment. Many believe it's because I'm overconfident or have just never been told to shut up. On the contrary, I've simply embarrassed myself so many times in so many situations I just don't feel it anymore. Even so, there are times where even I have to admit that I'm too scared to post. Art is one of them. I've always hated the idea of 'doing art' from a personal perspective. I made videos in high-school I couldn't wait to delete. Drawn figures that have long since decomposed. Written poems so ignored the ink itself catches dust-bunnies. The idea of revealing myself past hoping some people find me funny is deeply troubling. Art is not only...

by Rhoro Iyeke One of my main struggles is understanding the level of freewill I have with this particular project. I hadn't had much of it while working in the past with other great artists, because, as far as I saw it, my art existed to develop their world; not mine. So now that I'm in a space where the music exists to build my world, it feels a bit strange I won't lie. But it's liberating. Really, really liberating. I can't wait to show y'all what we work on.

So it's approaching about 2 years without the late, great Shaun Martin. Most people don't really know about him and his impact on gospel music as a whole. So all I'll say is, if you listened to Kirk Franklin's music. You've heard Shaun Martin. He was a composer, pianist, and arranger of a good portion of early 2000s black gospel music. Here are some of my favorites. the list (in no particular order): Kim Burrell - Anything : I've been revisiting this particular album recent. And man, if you actually watched the VHS live recording. You can see a young Shaun Martin acting a fool with the circus riff , it's so hilarious you can tell EVERYONE was genuinely embarrassed by the riff bro.😭😭😭
